COLOMBO (News 1st) - Pope Francis paid a visit on Friday (31) to the pediatric oncology ward and baptised a newborn baby at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital where he is undergoing treatment for bronchitis.
According to reports, the Holy Father spent about half an hour in the ward, where he distributed "rosaries, chocolate eggs, and books".
The Vatican said Friday that Pope Francis may be discharged from the hospital on Saturday (01) after responding well to treatments.
