Showers or thundershowers to occur over most parts of the country

The Met Department predicts that showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over most parts of the country after 1 pm today. 

Fairly heavy showers about 75mm are likely at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and North-central provinces.

Several spells of showers can also be expected in coastal areas of the Western province and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning too.
