Special discussion to resolve issues faced by Sri Lanka Telecom

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) board of directors is scheduled to hold a discussion on Thursday (21) regarding issues within the SLT.

President of the All Telecom Employees Union (ATEU) Jagath Gurusinghe said trade union action will be broadened if solutions are not provided following the discussion.

Strike action was launched against the privatization of Sri Lanka Telecom and the current administration.

Protests were held in several areas on Wednesday (20), based on the issues faced by Sri Lanka Telecom.
