SLPP Annual Convention today (15) in Colombo

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Special Annual Convention of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna will be held on Friday (15) afternoon.

The convention will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

SLPP Spokesperson MP Sanjeeva Edirimanna said the convention will be presided over by Leader of the SLPP Mahinda Rajapaksa.

MP Edirimanna said 2024 is a decisive year in Sri Lankan politics, as an election is due to be held next year.

He said the national convention is being held in line with the SLPP's future programme, for 2024.
