COLOMBO (News 1st); The State and Public service trade unions collective plans to go on sick leave tomorrow. This is expected to be carried out island-wide.
The collective has cited several demands including being granted an allowance of Rs. 20,000.
According to Chandana Sooriyaarachch, the Convener of the collective, they plan to intensify Trade Union actions if the government does not consider their demands.
