Final decision on Diana Gamage assault case on Thursday - Parliament Committee

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Parliamentary committee probing the recent assault on State Minister Diana Gamage will announce their final decision on Thursday (09).

Chair of the committee Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa said the MPs involved in the incident were summoned before the committee on Monday (06).

Statements were recorded from State Minister Diana Gamage, and MPs Rohana Bandara and Sujith Sanjaya Perera.

State Minister Piyal Nishantha De Silva who was near the group at the time of the incident was also summoned by the committee.
