SINOPEC gets Hambantota Refinery contract

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Cabinet has given the green light to award China's SINOPEC the contract to establish a new petroleum refinery and associated product processing center in Hambantota.

Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), the decision that was taken by the cabinet.
