Ranil undecided on running for president in 2024

Colombo (News 1st): Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe said that he has not decided on running for president at 2024 presidential election.

"At the moment, though, I belong to the UNP. I'm functioning as a president without taking party alignment. Then the question is whether I should come as a party alignment, and since I haven't decided what does it matter?," said the President to India's FirstPost.

My first job is to put the economy into shape, he stressed twice when asked if he would run for president. 

"I can even become a correspondent like you," he said jokingly.
