Aswesuma payment for September from today (23)

COLOMBO (News 1st); State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe said Aswesuma welfare beneficiaries can obtain the September installments from Thursday (23).

He said Rs.8.571 billion were released to banks for the 1,377,000 Aswesuma beneficiary families.

The State Minister said the installments for the months of October, November and December will be paid before the end of the year.

New applications are due to be called in December.

State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe added that the arrears of the elderly, kidney patients and disabled have been paid.
