Presidential, Parliamentary elections next year - Ranil

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe has announced that Presidential and Parliamentary elections will take place next year.
He made the announcement in Parliament on Wednesday (22) during the Budget Debate.
Wickremesinghe said thereafter, in 2025, the Provincial Council Election, and the Local Government Election will be held.
The President noted that elections will not be delayed.
