Bus lanes back to operation from Wednesday (01)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka Police will restart operating the bus priority lanes from Wednesday (01).

The pilot project will be operation along several roads in Colombo until October 14.

The bus priority lane will operate from 6 am to 9 am from the Savoy Cinema in Wellawatte to  Fort along the Galle Road.

It will also operate along the Maradana Road from the Borella junction to Olcott Mawatha in Pettah.

Police say that only CTB, private and staff and school transport buses will operate on the bus lanes.
