Dengue cases on the rise in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Dengue Control Unit said there is an increase in dengue cases reported in Sri Lanka.
Its Director Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne said 24 areas have been identified as dengue high risk zones.
68,114 dengue cases have been reported in the island so far, with 3,631 dengue cases reported this month alone.
Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne said it is an increase of almost 1,000, compared to the last month.
