No compensation for farmers who do not cultivate according to schedule, says Amaraweera

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera stated that no compensation will be given to any farmer who does not cultivate according to the schedule set for the season.
The Minister stated that farmers have been instructed to cultivate according to the schedules prepared for the Maha season.
He added that not following these instructions would lead to a shortage of water in the Yala season as well.
