13 Sri Lankans near Gaza Strip evacuated, says Ambassador

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel Nimal Bandara said that 13 Sri Lankans living near the Gaza Strip in Israel have been evacuated.
He says that about 20 Sri Lankans were working in the area and 7 more are to be evacuated.
Meanwhile, the two Sri Lankans who were reported missing due to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have not yet been found.
Foreign media reports that about 3,000 have been killed in the conflict so far, from either side.
