Final rites of 05 victims of Radella accident conducted

Colombo (News 1st) - The last rites of the 05 members of the same family who died in the Nanuoya Radella vehicle accident were performed on Saturday (21), at the Dik Oya Jumma Mosque Cemetery.
Our reporter mentioned that the last rites of the driver of the van and the driver of the three-wheeler who are residents of Nanuoya will be performed on Monday (23).
Director of Nuwara Eliya Hospital Dr. Mahendra Senanayake said, 04 people who were injured in the accident are still being treated in hospital.
He mentioned that 6 more people were transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver of the bus involved in the accident has been remanded until the 1st of February, said the Police Media Division.
