Colombo (News 1st) - New Zealand achieved a strange but unique feat in Test cricket's 145-year history when wicketkeeper Tom Blundell snapped up two wickets for his team to become the first team to dismiss the first two opposing batsmen by stumpings.

Babar Azam led Pakistan became the first team to lose the first 2 wickets via stumping dismissals on day one of the first Test of the 2-match Test series that began on Monday (26) at National Stadium, Karachi.

After winning the toss Pakistan opted to bat first. Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq walked to the crease. Ajaz Patel in the 4th over dismissed Shafique via stumping. Following him, M Bracewell in the 7th over dismissed Masood via stumping.

Keeper Blundell earned himself a place in Test cricket's 145-year-long history by producing a unique feat.
