Sri Lanka - USA discuss progress of debt restructuring

COLOMBO (News1st); Sri Lanka's State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe has held bilateral discussions with Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury Robert Kaproth.

Posting on X State Minister Semasinghe said the discusions focused on Sri Lanka's recent economic developments, progress of debt restructuring, strengthening tax administration and ongoing governance reforms.

The State Minister added that Kaproth assured the fullest support for Sri Lanka on all fronts.

Posting on X Robert Kaproth said he was glad to see the progress Sri Lanka is making in economic recovery and financial sector stability.
