Sixth Suspect in Kotahena Shooting Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); Another suspect has been arrested in Jaffna in relation with the shooting and murder of a person in Kotahena, 16th Lane area. 

The suspect arrested is a 29-year-old resident of Manippai.

Police says, steps will be taken to question the suspect arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division, under a detention order. 

A total of six people have been arrested so far in connection with the incident.

Police stated that the murder was carried out due to a dispute between two underworld teams.

The murder was carried out by a group that arrived in a motor vehicle on the 7th of November, and a 43-year-old individual died from the incident.
