Police Nab Suspect in Fatal Pamunugama Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Uswetakeiyawa, Pamunugama, which occurred on the 20th of February. 

The police suspect that the murder is linked to Dubai-based Kelaniya Kalana.

Kelaniya Kalana is a close associate of Kehelbaddara Padme, who is believed to have orchestrated the murder of Ganemulla Sanjeewa

During the arrest, the police found 12 grams of ICE (methamphetamine) and a foreign-made live grenade in the suspect's possession.

The suspect is a 29-year-old resident of Ragama
