After fierce competition, Sri Lanka and Scotland emerged victorious, securing their spots in the prestigious tournament.
In Final of the qualifiers, Scotland Women's Cricket Captain Sarah Bryce elected to bowl first after winning the toss in Abu Dhabi.
Sri Lanka, led by Captain Chamari Athapattu's stellar performance, set a formidable score of 169 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, with Athapattu herself scoring an impressive 102 runs off just 63 balls.
In response, the Scottish women struggled to maintain momentum, managing to accumulate only 101 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
