COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Central Bank Governor says that private creditor debt restructuring negotiations can be concluded soon.
Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe said that negotiations and discussions are taking place between the advisors of both sides, and there is hope that the process can be completed without delay.
Speaking to reporters in Colombo, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe said that IMF Executive Board approval can be secured in June, so that the country can obtain the next tranche of the IMF-supported program.
