Alternative tax policy proposal to be tabled in Parliament soon - Gamini Waleboda

Chairman of the Sectorial Oversight Committee on Alleviating the Impact of the Economic Crisis MP Gamini Waleboda says an alternative proposal regarding the tax levied on the salary of public and private sector professionals will be tabled in Parliament next week.

He says that the matter was discussed with representatives of 40 organizations last week.

MP Gamini Waleboda says that he also hopes to hold discussions with representatives of the International Monetary Fund and reach a solution to the brain drain in Sri Lanka.
