Rajarata Rejina Train Derails

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Rajarata Rejina train derailed this afternoon between Colombo Fort and Slave Island, causing significant disruptions on the coastal route.

The Railway Operating Centre confirmed that train operations on the coastal line are currently limited to one direction due to the derailment. 

The Operating Centre said that only the engine of the Rajarata Rejina has been derailed.
