Former Sri Lanka U-19 Captain shot and killed in Ambalangoda

COLOMBO (News1st); Sri Lanka Police said investigations are underway to arrest the suspect involved in the shooting that took place in Kanda Mawatha, Ambalangoda on Tuesday (16) night.
Dhammika Niroshana, a former Captain of the Sri Lanka Under-19 cricket team, died in the shooting.
An individual had shot Niroshana while he was at his residence, and fled the scene.
A 12-bore firearm was used for the shooting.
41-year-old Dhammika Niroshana captained the Sri Lanka U-19 cricket team in 2002.
