Ahungalle Shooting: Charred Motorcyle Found

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police discovered the motorcycle believed to be connected to a recent shooting incident in the Ahungalle.

The motorcycle was located in the Banvelduwa region of Kosgoda.

Sri Lanka Police said that the motorcycle had also been set on fire.

Sri Lanka Police said that a 54-year-old man who was gunned down on Wednesday (8) night in Ahungalle was the father of a drug trafficker based in Dubai.

At around 7:50 PM that day, two men on a motorcycle had visited a residence in the Lokanwatte area in Bogahapitiya, Ahungalle and carried out the shooting.

The victim, identified as Keethi Abrew, died upon admission to the hospital.
