SLCERT Takes Down Fake Postal Department Websites

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Forum says that it has taken steps to remove fake websites similar to the Post Department's website.

Its senior information security engineer Charuka Damunupola said that 05 such fake websites were removed from the internet.

In the meantime, he also said that there have been 35 reported incidents of money fraud by accessing such websites.
