Facilities to pay traffic fines at night in some post offices

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Posts of Sri Lanka has reached a decision to facilitate the payment of traffic fines during the night, at selected post offices in each district.

The Department said traffic fines can be paid at post offices with a night shift in the Western Province at present. 

Plans are in place to facilitate the payment of fines at post offices operating at night in other provinces, based on its success in the Western Province.
 
The Department of Posts announced that the relevant facilities will be provided before the end of January.
