COLOMBO (News 1st); Two Sri Lankan courts on Tuesday (19) issued orders prohibiting any 'Thileepan memorials' in several police jurisdictions in Colombo.
The Fort Magistrate's Court issued an order prohibiting any 'Thileepan Memorial' in Fort, Kompanna Veediya, and Colpetty police jurisdictions from 12 noon to 10 PM.
At the same time, the Maligakanda Magistrate's Court issued an order prohibiting any 'Thileepan Memorial' in the Maradana police jurisdiction for a period of 24 hours, with effect from noon.
