Colombo (Sri Lanka) - BREAKING: The Fulton County Sheriff's Department in the state of Georgia has released the mugshot of former President Donald Trump, who on Thursday night (24th) became the first U.S. President to have his mug shot taken.
He was fingerprinted and booked as "inmate No. P01135809".
Trump was released on a USD200,000 bond after being booked on 13 charges of racketeering in relation to attempting to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election.
Trump told reporters "I did nothing wrong. We have every single right to challenge an election that we think is dishonest”.
He has been charged along with 18 other persons associated to him, charges which include illegally hacking into the elections computer system of Georgia in attempts to tamper with the result.
This is the fourth time that Trump has been charged this year. He ws indicted in a federal court in Washington, DC, for attempting to overturn the resut of the election; he is charged in a federal court in Florida for mishandling classified documents; and he was charged by the state of New York over fraud in election campaign funds for allegedly paying off an adult movie star with whom he had a relationship.
