Parliament Select Committee to probe Child Malnutrition levels in SL

COLOMBO (News 1st); A Parliament Select Committee was appointed to inquire into child malnutrition in Sri Lanka.

The committee is tasked with inquiring into whether the child malnutrition issue in Sri Lanka is aggravating and to identify short term, medium term and long-term measures to be taken in that regard, as well as to oversee the speedy implementation of the identified measures has been established.

MP Vadivel Suresh was appointed as Chair of the Parliament Select Committee.
