COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry said that 275,000 Sri Lankans have left for foreign jobs within this year.
The minister said that 85 percent of them have left to work in Middle Eastern countries.
Minister Sabry mentioned this at a press conference held at the Presidential Media Center.
He added that a decisive discussion with the IMF will be held on the 12th of December.
The Minister pointed out that following the discussion, it would be possible to receive the 2nd tranche of the IMF bailout facility.
