Special Traffic Plan to be in Effect near Colombo's Galle Face

A special traffic plan will be implemented starting 5 pm today, December 31, 2023, in the vicinity of Galle Face Green. 

This is due to special programs scheduled for the popular beachfront area.

Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa, advises drivers to plan their routes accordingly and expect potential delays. 

Specific details of the traffic plan, including road closures and alternative routes, are expected to be released shortly by the Colombo Police Headquarters.
